Did You Know That Your GARBAGE is Our TREASURE?

The Musquodoboit Valley Lions Club is collecting used stamps that you toss in the trash after reading your mail. These stamps are forwarded on and are used for Lions projects around the world at schools to teach students about other countries. They are also used in World Peace projects.

If you would take the time to save these for us, we would appreciate it. Put them in a bag and we will cut the stamps from the envelopes. Please feel free to cut your name from the envelope but leave at least ONE INCH of paper around the stamp. We will do the rest.

How to Get Rid of Your "Stamp" Trash?

  1. Give us a call and we will arrange to have them picked up, OR...

  2. Drop your used postage stamps into the specially marked Lions "Recycle For Sight" collection boxes located at Haverstock's PharmaSave, Valley View Villa, the emergency wing of the Musquodoboit Valley Memorial Hospital, and Braeside Home for Special Care, OR...

  3. Your stamps can also be given to any member of The Musquodoboit Valley Lions Club.
