On May 9, the Lions went out in force to, yet again, clean up the debris cast upon our Musquodoboit Valley roadways and ditches. Among the truckloads of trash, the Lions gathered up approximately 25 large garbage bags of trash and 7 large bags of recyclable cans/bottles.

For ideas how you (as an individual or with your community group), can get involved to help minimize roadway trash and "Keep our Valley Green", visit The TownCryer News web site at www.towncryernews.ca/donttrash.html
