The
Musquodoboit Valley Lions Club is a
group of men and women who identify needs within our community
and work together to fulfill those needs. Our Club members
work on a variety of projects
and service activities. Browse
our gallery for photo snippits of what we've been doing since 1973. Proceeds from past
fundraising
events sponsored by the Musquodoboit Valley Lions Club have gone to a variety of
community service projects.

2009
- 14th Annual Adopt-a-Highway
On
May 9, the Lions went out in force to, yet again, clean up the
debris cast upon our Musquodoboit Valley roadways and ditches.
Among the truckloads of trash, the Lions gathered up
approximately 25 large garbage bags of trash and 7 large bags of
recyclable cans/bottles.
For
ideas how you (as an individual or with your community group),
can get involved to help minimize roadway trash and "Keep
our Valley Green", visit The TownCryer News web site at www.towncryernews.ca/donttrash.html
