Drug Awareness Poster Contest

Part of the Musquodoboit Valley Lions Club Lions Quest program is our annual Drug Awareness Poster Contest to educate youth about drug and alcohol abuse.

Each spring, students (grades 4, 5, and 6) from Upper Musquodoboit Consolidated School and Musquodoboit Valley Education Centre work their artistic skills to create their drug awareness posters. Entries are first judged at the local level (our Club) and one winner from each school moves on to the district level (Provincial).

Recent winners were: Taylor Black, Carmen VanWychen and Joseph Humphrey of Musquodoboit Valley Education Centre; Remi Boutilier, Harley Lemmon and Tanya Fleck of Upper Musquodoboit Consolidated School; and Christine O'Connell, Brandon Wright and Maddy Mason or Upper Stewiacke Consolidated School. Congratulations to all of the winners!
